History

1949 - 1987

GHL started from a small provision shop in Clive Street in 1949. For more than 30 years, GHL supplied its customers with a variety of food products ranging from rice, oil, dried food, canned food, etc.

1987 - 1992

	GHL has grown steadily over the years and in 1987, the company moved to Dickson Road, where it began to supply rice to hawker centres and restaurants.

1992 - 1999

GHL expanded its operations and moved to a bigger premise at 165 Ubi Ave 4 to accomodate more warehousing facilities.

1999 - 2005

In 1999, GHL became a Private Limited company. It started importing rice directly from Thailand. To accommodate its fast-expanding sales and operations and facilitate its quality control, it moved to 121 & 123 Ubi Ave 4.
